How much time do I need to allow?
The whole experience – from the instruction and flight through to the debriefing – takes around 90 minutes.

How long is a flight?
A flight lasts 60 seconds, which is how long it takes to skydive from a height of over 4,000 metres.

What else is included in the flight?
A licensed instructor will introduce you to the world of flying. This includes the instruction, gear and a short debriefing.

Are all my flights on the same day?
Yes, all your flights are on the same day or during a single session. Everyone has at least two flights and up to 10 flights per session the first time they fly. We recommend booking four flights for your first time.

When am I not allowed to fly?
– If you are under five years old.
– If you are pregnant.
– If you have severe shoulder pain.
– If you have been diagnosed with epilepsy.
– If you weigh more than 120 kg.
– If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

What clothes should I wear?
Wear comfortable, casual clothes and lace-up shoes. If you don’t have suitable shoes to wear, we can lend you some. Please note that dresses are not suitable clothing.

Who looks after me during the flight?
An instructor is with you for the whole experience. They give you instructions, help you get into your flying gear and are by your side when you lift off in the wind tunnel. A second instructor operates the system during your flight and takes pictures of you while you’re up in the air.

Is indoor skydiving dangerous?
No. You fly in a controlled environment and have two experienced instructors by your side at all times. Indoor skydiving is a fascinating interaction between body and air. But you’ll still get a rush of adrenaline, of course.

How can I book a flight? 
Head to the Book a flight page and add the desired flight to your cart by clicking ‘Book now’ followed by ‘Select appointment’. Our booking system will show you all the available times on the next page.

How can I send someone a flight voucher?
Head to the Gifts page and add the desired flight to your cart by clicking ‘Give now’, then leave a short message. We’ll send the gift voucher in a print-at-home format free of charge; alternatively, you can order a gift card for a small additional cost.

How many flights should I book?
Our basic offer includes two flights per person – a great experience! You’ll learn how to fly with finesse in no time at all and after your third or fourth flight, you’ll probably even be able to fly on your own. So if you want to get a bit more out of the experience, we recommend booking four flights.

How long are the vouchers valid?
All vouchers are valid for 24 months.

Can I cancel my flights?
We are happy to reschedule your booking via email or phone on +41 (0) 52 511 80 40. Please note the following conditions:

  • Up to 48 hours before the scheduled time: free of charge.
  • Between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled time: subject to an additional charge of 40% of the value of the service.
  • Between 24 and 0 hours before the scheduled time: subject to an additional charge of 60% of the value of the service.

What happens if I don’t show up for my booked flight without notifying you?
Your voucher and all associated entitlements will lose their validity.

Can I bring my dog with me to Windwerk?
Dogs are not allowed to enter the Windwerk premises and must wait outside. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you have parking spaces available?
We have 24 free parking spaces available. If you can’t find a free space, there is additional parking available at the Lidl supermarket next door.

When am I considered a pro flyer?
If you are a certified skydiver or an experienced indoor skydiver (at least one hour of flying), you are considered a pro flyer and can take advantage of offers for pro flyers.

How do I apply for pro flyer status?
Create a pro flyer account and request pro flyer status. We’ll give you pro flyer status as soon as we have verified your request.

I have a pro flyer account but can’t book a flight time.
Before you can book your flight time, you have to purchase a flight in your customer account (click on ‘Pro flyer offers’). Your flight minutes will be displayed in your customer account under ‘Pro flyer’ after you have purchased the flight. You should then be able to reserve time slots in the online calendar by clicking on ‘Book’.

What is the maximum flight time I should book per session? What is recommended?
Ideally, you should book 10 to 15 minutes per session. A session lasts 30 minutes and you need time to rest.
If you want to fly during multiple sessions, we recommend taking no less than a 30-minute break in between.

I booked the wrong times. Can I cancel them?
We are happy to reschedule your booking via email or phone on +41 (0) 52 511 80 40. Please note the following conditions:

Your booked flight time will lapse.

Where and how can I get the videos from my flight sessions?
You have access to our media portal in your customer account, where you’ll find all of your videos available for download for 30 days from the date of recording.
You’ll be able to see the video recordings of the sessions that you purchased. If you fly during someone else’s flight time, get in touch with our Customer Service team on site and we’ll grant you access to these recordings.
