For all those who believe there are limits, we have good news: not true!
We try to make dreams come true and overcome barriers.
True to our motto “Anyone can fly”, we are constantly developing and trying to make the seemingly impossible possible.
Because beaming faces are worth every effort.
Our flight instructor Novi, for example, has a lot of experience in working with people with visual impairments.
He set up a flight course tailored to their individual needs.
Our guests were first able to walk through the wind tunnel to get a first impression.
In the next step, they “felt” the wind while standing.
The first-time flyers really put in a sensational performance.
After all, it takes an incredible amount of courage to embark on such an adventure.
The course was organized by the Swiss Caritas Action for the Blind (CAB).

We have also had the pleasure of accompanying a group of young people suffering from muscular dystrophy into weightlessness.
Muscular dystrophy is the overarching term for a group of very different, chronic diseases of the skeletal muscles that are accompanied by a progressive loss of functional muscle substance.
After the briefing by the accompanying persons and with their support throughout the visit, two of our instructors let the children fly in the wind tunnel with great care.
Thanks to the barrier-free architecture of the entire Windwerk, people in wheelchairs can easily reach every part of the building – right up to the entrance of the wind tunnel.
The experiences we have together with children, young people or adults with disabilities are very enriching.
They help us to overcome our own limitations and to keep trying to discover new possibilities.
They also make us more aware of the importance of inclusion in our everyday lives.
Our Chief Instructor Sandro has already accompanied some of these events, which are anything but ordinary for us:
“People particularly appreciate our open approach and the fact that we make indoor skydiving an experience for everyone. They give us a very special feeling of gratitude. Feeling and experiencing their joy is one of the best things there is!”
We usually work with organizations and institutions such as the Swiss Caritas Action for the Blind (CAB), the EnableMe Foundation (formerly MyHandicap), the Mathilde Escher Foundation, the Theodora Foundation and the Brühlgut Foundation to provide inclusive activities.
We would like to thank them for their trust!
