Become a Tunnel Instructor – with us, you will build up all the skills step by step: from safely handling first-time flyers to controlled taxi flights and reliably spotting high-speed maneuvers of pro flyers. The training is based on the recognized education system of tunnelinstructor.com.

Class A Rating (Basic Training)

Start your journey to becoming an Instructor and learn how to help people experience the feeling of flying. With the basic Class A Rating, you gain excellent opportunities to work in a wind tunnel later on.

Training Goals
• Assisting first-time flyers (without taxi flights)
• Spotting low-speed maneuvers

Duration
• 2 course weeks, mornings only
• A total of 10 hours in the wind tunnel

• Handling people
• Control & stability
• Spotting
• Operation & maintenance of the wind tunnel

Requirements
• Physically fit
• Ideally, some prior wind tunnel flying experience

Price
CHF 6,800.– for 10 hours (coaching included, CHF 680.–/h)

Further training
Further training levels(A+ and B) can only be offered after gaining practical experience and will be planned individually upon request. The acquisition of practical experience at Windwerk is assessed individually, cannot be guaranteed in advance, and depends on the operational needs of Windwerk.
